Terms

The customer services agreement for Sitefinite. Terms, version of 4 October 2026.

Sitefinite is not on sale yet. Nobody can buy a plan yet. These terms will apply to each customer from the moment they accept them at checkout and pay.

1. This agreement

These terms are a binding agreement between you, the business that buys a Sitefiniteplan, and Roar Group Pty Ltd (ABN 17 702 060 419), ACN 702 060 419 (“we”, “us”). They apply when you tick the box at checkout to accept them and pay. The order review you see before paying, therefund and cancellation policy and theprivacy notice form part of this agreement.

We have written them in plain English. If something here is unclear, emailhello@sitefinite.com before you buy and we will explain it.

2. Who you are dealing with

Sitefinite is a product of Roar Group Pty Ltd (ABN 17 702 060 419). Sitefinite is a product name, not a separate company or a registered business name. The seller of every Sitefinite plan, and the sender of every Sitefinite message, is Roar Group Pty Ltd (ABN 17 702 060 419), ACN 702 060 419.

Email:hello@sitefinite.com. We provide support by email only.

3. What you are buying

A finished website, built for your business from the details you give us, followed by a monthly managed service for hosting, security updates and keeping the site working as browsers change. The service also includes the Sitefinite owner tools described on thepricing page. Commerce features are switched on only for a business that needs them and completes the payment provider’s setup.

Before you pay, the order review records the exact local currency, setup fee, regular setup fee, any introductory saving, monthly fee, tax treatment and offer deadline. That record is what you agree to pay.

4. Prices, payment and tax

  • The setup fee is a one-time payment, taken at checkout.
  • The monthly fee is charged in advance at checkout and then once a month on the same date, until you cancel. There is no fixed term and no minimum period.
  • The introductory price reduces only the setup fee. It is available for14 days from the day the first preview in your account was created, and regenerating a preview does not restart it. The monthly fee is always charged at the full price.
  • Payments are taken by our payment provider, Stripe. We never receive or store your card details.
  • Online checkout is currently open to Australian businesses only. Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. Tax invoices and receipts are issued byRoar Group Pty Ltd (ABN 17 702 060 419).
  • If a monthly payment fails, Stripe may try it again. Until a payment goes through, the paid business tools in your plan (such as Business HQ records, the assistant, the Local Opportunity Radar and Customer Hubs) can pause straight away. Your published website stays online, and you can still sign in, update your payment details and download your website export. Paused tools come back as soon as the payment succeeds. Section 12 sets out the only cases in which we may go further.

5. Price changes

We will not change the price of anything you have already paid for. We may change the monthly fee for future months, but only by emailing you at least 30 days before the new price applies to you. If you do not want to pay the new price, you can cancel before it takes effect and you will not be charged it. A setup fee you have already paid never changes.

6. Your responsibilities

  • Give us accurate business details, and review your website before you publish it. You approve what goes on your site.
  • Only supply words, photographs, logos and other material that you own or have permission to use, and that are lawful to publish.
  • Use the service lawfully, including privacy, spam, consumer and advertising laws that apply to your business, and do not use it to harm the service, other customers or anyone else.
  • Keep access to your account email secure. Anyone who can open the sign-in links sent to that address can manage your account.
  • Respond to enquiries that come through your website yourself. The people who contact you are your customers, and your obligations to them are yours.

7. What you own

You own your website, your words, your photographs and your domain. The layouts and the software that generates them stay ours. You are not buying the workshop, you are buying the thing we made in it.

You give us permission to store, copy, adapt and display the material you supply only so far as we need to provide the service to you. That permission ends when the service ends, apart from copies we keep in backups and records as described in the privacy notice.

Media supplied with the site

When we supply commissioned or licensed media as part of your finished website, and do not identify a different licence in the accompanying credits, you receive a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, copy, display and adapt that media for your own business website and its promotional derivatives. The licence continues after cancellation and travels with the complete site export. You may give a replacement host or contractor the copies needed to operate your site, but you may not resell the media as a standalone stock library, claim that it records your real premises, staff or completed work, or use it as a trademark. Commissioned generative media may not be unique, and we do not promise that another person will never receive a similar image. Image credits identify the source and any different terms that apply.

Logo Studio

Logo Studio can create ten controlled vector concepts from the business name, colours and style direction you enter. You choose whether to adopt one and can download the selected vector with the website. The concepts are not a trademark search or a promise of uniqueness, registrability or non-infringement. You are responsible for reviewing the artwork, checking the name and mark in the countries and classes where you trade, and obtaining professional clearance where appropriate before using it as a trademark.

8. What we will not put on your site

  • Anything you did not tell us. No licence numbers, years in business, awards, certifications, guarantees, response times or review quotes are ever invented. The software has no field for them, so they cannot appear by accident.
  • Any photograph we do not have the right to use.
  • Any claim about price, availability or outcome that you did not make yourself.

9. What we cannot promise

We cannot promise a position or citation in search, answer-engine or generative results, a number of enquiries, or that a website will win you work. Anyone promising you that is guessing. What we do provide is one coherent technical foundation: fast accessible pages, visible useful content, canonical URLs, sitemaps and structured business data, all grounded in information you review. The website remains genuinely yours.

10. How the owner tools work

Business HQ and assistant boundaries

Business HQ is a practical record for enquiries, opportunities, tasks, work status, commercial-document status and campaign drafts. It is not a general ledger, tax or payroll system, bank feed, clinical record, regulated advice service or substitute for software a law or professional standard requires. Assistant suggestions remain drafts: they cannot send, publish, charge, file or delete, and the account owner is responsible for reviewing the underlying facts before using them.

Merchant shops and payments

If you enable a shop, you remain the seller and merchant responsible for the goods, services, product descriptions, availability, taxes, fulfilment, customer support, cancellation and refund rights that apply in every market you serve. Customer charges are created as direct charges in the Stripe account you connect; Sitefinite does not become the seller merely because its software presents the checkout or records the order.

Prices, stock, booking capacity and order totals are calculated on the server and payment is confirmed only from a signed provider event. Refunds require an explicit merchant action and provider confirmation. A refund does not automatically put physical stock back on sale: the merchant must inspect the returned item and make a separate inventory decision. Recurring products must state their cadence and cancellation position before publication, and access follows the signed subscription state. Digital files must pass the configured local malware scanner before activation, but scanning reduces risk rather than guaranteeing that a file is safe; the merchant remains responsible for every file it supplies and the rights to distribute it.

The catalogue can support physical, unique, digital, service, membership, event, accommodation, food and made-to-order offers, but it is not a certified point-of-sale, property-management, food-safety, age-verification, regulated-ticketing, tax or accounting system. The merchant must supply accurate product-specific terms and use any specialised system required by its industry or jurisdiction.

Website performance figures

Business HQ reports eligible page requests and recorded website enquiries. A page view is a request, not a unique person, and a broad source category is not guaranteed marketing attribution. Automated traffic can evade detection and privacy signals can reduce the count. The figures are operating evidence, not a promise of enquiries, customers or revenue.

Local Opportunity Radar

The Radar may surface minimal summaries of explicit public requests and official public tender, permit, event or organisation-level records through a public, customer-connected, licensed or specifically approved source interface. A source listed in the product is not permission to scrape it. Connectors remain disabled where a commercial agreement, platform approval or customer connection is missing, and Sitefinite does not circumvent logins, private groups, paywalls, robots controls or platform rate limits. The owner must review the original source, suitability and lawful next step before acting.

The account owner, not Sitefinite, reviews each signal and decides whether any contact is appropriate. A public post is not marketing consent. The owner must follow the source’s rules and the privacy, direct-marketing, telemarketing, professional and consumer laws that apply to their market. The product never auto-replies, impersonates a person, buys hidden personal data or promises that a signal is genuine, current, exclusive or likely to convert.

Customer Hub decisions

A Customer Hub is a private view of records the business linked to that customer. Quote acceptance or rejection records the customer’s decision; a request for a booking, change or repeat service is not confirmation that the business accepted it. The business remains responsible for reviewing its queue, confirming scope, price and timing, and using any statutory invoice, tax or regulated-record system its market requires.

Private demonstrations and prospect outreach

A private demonstration is an unofficial concept, not a published business website and not a statement that the business is our customer. It may use evidenced public business facts, but it must not invent credentials, outcomes, review text, prices or other claims. The target business, not Sitefinite, reviews and accepts the content before adoption or publication. The business may decline, request correction, claim the preview to edit it, or ask not to be contacted again.

Demonstration generation and outreach are separate gates. An outreach draft requires an allowed source, current jurisdiction/channel evidence, an identified business/entity type, a recorded lawful or consent basis, an active private preview and a clear suppression check. The product does not infer that a public email address permits contact and never sends an unreviewed draft. Email delivery is available only after a named operator approves that exact draft and current sender-authentication, jurisdiction, source, identity, suppression and daily-volume controls all pass. An opt-out, complaint, invalid endpoint, source restriction or legal prohibition blocks the prospect before every attempted delivery. In markets whose reviewed policy permits the collection, bounded website checks may retain business addresses that the business itself publishes. Values are encrypted immediately, checked for a mail-capable domain and kept with their exact source page. An unrelated cross-domain value requires review, while a guessed address, search snippet or directory-supplied value is excluded from the selectable delivery register. A licensed open-data business-email observation may be encrypted in a separate signal-only register; its domain may assist website discovery, but its address cannot become selectable unless the first-party workflow independently verifies the same value. Collection alone never opens the delivery gate.

11. Cancelling and refunds

You can cancel whenever you like, from the billing page of your own account, without asking us. Cancelling stops the monthly service at the end of the month you have already paid for, and you are not charged again. Setup-fee refunds, including the 14-day refund while your site is unpublished, are covered by therefund and cancellation policy.

You do not have to ask for your website back, and you do not have to wait. The website handover contains the customer-owned design, content and applicable public pages as a navigable static site. The dashboard provides that static handover, its media and a separate versioned data export at any time, including before you leave. It works offline and any static web host can serve it.

Complementary Sitefinite modules, forms, checkout, provider connections, dashboards and automation stop with the managed service and need replacement software.

Your domain stays registered in your name with your own registrar. Sitefinite only connects it to your website; we never register, hold or transfer it. If you leave, we disconnect it and you can point it anywhere you like, at no charge. We will never hold a website, its content or a domain against an unpaid bill.

You can ask for a website, or your whole account, to be deleted from its settings. Deletion waits seven days so you can change your mind, and finishes once billing for that website has ended and any custom domain has been disconnected. When it finishes we delete the website and its records, except the records the law requires us to keep, such as tax and payment records. The privacy notice lists what we keep and for how long.

12. Suspension and termination by us

We may suspend the service only for one of these reasons:

  • a monthly payment is still unpaid seven days after we emailed you that it failed;
  • material on your site, or your use of the service, is unlawful, infringes someone else’s rights or seriously breaches section 6, and you have not fixed it within seven days of our email asking you to; or
  • we must act straight away to protect the security of the service or other people, or because a law, court or regulator requires it.

The automatic pause of paid business tools described in section 4 is not a suspension under this section and never takes your website offline.

Before suspending, we will email you the reason and what you can do to fix it. In the third case we may have to act first; we will then email you the reason as soon as we can. We will suspend only as much of the service as the reason requires, and restore it promptly once the reason is resolved. During a suspension you can still sign in and download your website and data export.

We may end this agreement:

  • if a reason for suspension is still unresolved 30 days after we suspended the service, by emailing you; or
  • if we stop offering the service, by emailing you at least 30 days beforehand. We will then refund any monthly fee you have paid for the time after the service ends.

If the agreement ends for any reason, you keep your website export and domain, and the commitments in section 11 still apply.

13. If something goes wrong

If the service is not working as it should, emailhello@sitefinite.com. We will investigate and fix our mistakes at no charge. If we cannot fix a problem within a reasonable time, you can cancel, and you are entitled to a refund for the part of the service you paid for and did not receive, as well as any other remedy under the consumer guarantees below. Therefund and cancellation policy explains how refunds are paid.

14. Your consumer rights

Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or the consumer law of your own country. Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For a major failure with the service, you are entitled to cancel your service contract and to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If the failure does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have problems with the service rectified in a reasonable time and, if this is not done, to cancel your contract and obtain a refund for the unused portion of the contract.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes any right or remedy, or any guarantee, that you have under the Australian Consumer Law or another law and that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or changed. If any part of these terms appears to do so, it does not apply to that extent.

15. Liability

Subject to section 14:

  • each party’s total liability to the other under or in connection with this agreement, whether in contract, negligence or otherwise, is limited to the total fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event that caused the loss;
  • neither of us is liable to the other for loss of profits, revenue, business opportunity or goodwill, or for indirect or consequential loss, to the extent the law allows this to be excluded; and
  • each party’s liability is reduced to the extent the other party caused or contributed to the loss.

These limits do not apply to liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or wilful misconduct, and they do not reduce fees you owe for service you have received. We keep backups of the service, and you can download a complete export of your website at any time; we recommend keeping your own copy.

16. Privacy

How we handle personal information, including the providers who help us run the service, is explained in the privacy notice. Where we hold enquiries from your website visitors, we hold them on your behalf so you can reply, and we do not use them for our own marketing.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when we add a feature or the law changes. We will email you at least 30 days before a change that could disadvantage you takes effect, and tell you what is changing. If you do not agree to it, you can cancel before it takes effect and the earlier terms keep applying until your paid month ends. Changes that only benefit you, or that a law requires sooner, can take effect earlier. Each version has its own version number, and the one you accepted is recorded with your order.

18. Complaints and disputes

If you have a complaint, email hello@sitefinite.com and tell us what happened and what you would like us to do. We will acknowledge it within five business days and aim to give you a full response within 30 days. If we need longer, we will tell you why and when to expect it.

If we cannot resolve it between us, you can contact the consumer protection agency in your state or territory, such as NSW Fair Trading, or the consumer regulator in your own country. Nothing here stops either of us from going to a court or tribunal.

19. Governing law

This agreement is governed by the law of New South Wales, Australia. Each of us accepts the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts and tribunals of New South Wales. This does not take away any protection you have under the consumer law of the place where you live or trade.

20. General

  • We send notices about this agreement by email to your account email address, and you send them to hello@sitefinite.com.
  • If a court decides part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
  • If one of us does not enforce a right straight away, that right is not given up.
  • We may transfer this agreement to a business that takes over the service, if your rights under it are not reduced; we will email you if that happens. You may transfer it with our written agreement, which we will not unreasonably refuse.
  • This agreement, with the documents named in section 1, is the whole agreement about the service. It does not limit anything we told you in writing before you bought.
