Terms

Not a contract, and not yet a live service. Sitefinite is an internal preview. Production checkout and custom-domain activation are disabled. The operating entity has not been formed and these terms have not been reviewed by a lawyer, so nothing here binds anyone. It is a plain statement of how the product is built to behave.

What you would be buying

A finished website, built for your business, followed by a monthly managed service for hosting, security updates and keeping the site working as browsers change. The order review records the exact local currency, build fee, regular build fee, any introductory saving, monthly fee, tax treatment and offer deadline before payment. No contract and no minimum term.

What you own

You own your website, your words, your photographs and your domain. The layouts and the software that generates them stay ours — you are not buying the workshop, you are buying the thing we made in it.

Media supplied with the site

When we supply commissioned or licensed media as part of your finished website, and do not identify a different licence in the accompanying credits, you receive a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, copy, display and adapt that media for your own business website and its promotional derivatives. The licence continues after cancellation and travels with the complete site export. You may give a replacement host or contractor the copies needed to operate your site, but you may not resell the media as a standalone stock library, claim that it records your real premises, staff or completed work, or use it as a trademark. Commissioned generative media may not be unique, and we do not promise that another person will never receive a similar image. Image credits identify the source and any different terms that apply.

Logo Studio

Logo Studio can create ten controlled vector concepts from the business name, colours and style direction you enter. You choose whether to adopt one and can download the selected vector with the website. The concepts are not a trademark search or a promise of uniqueness, registrability or non-infringement. You are responsible for reviewing the artwork, checking the name and mark in the countries and classes where you trade, and obtaining professional clearance where appropriate before using it as a trademark.

Leaving

Cancel whenever you like, from your own account, without asking us.

You do not have to ask for your website back, and you do not have to wait: there is a download button on your dashboard that gives you a complete, working copy — your pages, your logo, your photographs and your details — at any time, including before you leave. It works offline and any web host will take it as it is.

We also unlock your domain within seven days at no charge. We will never hold a website, its content or a domain against an unpaid bill.

What we will not put on your site

  • Anything you did not tell us. No licence numbers, years in business, awards, certifications, guarantees, response times or review quotes are ever invented — the software has no field for them, so they cannot appear by accident.
  • Any photograph we do not have the right to use.
  • Any claim about price, availability or outcome that you did not make yourself.

What we cannot promise

We cannot promise a position or citation in search, answer-engine or generative results, a number of enquiries, or that a website will win you work. Anyone promising you that is guessing. What we do provide is one coherent technical foundation: fast accessible pages, visible useful content, canonical URLs, sitemaps and structured business data, all grounded in information you review. The website remains genuinely yours.

Business HQ and assistant boundaries

Business HQ is a practical record for enquiries, opportunities, tasks, work status, commercial-document status and campaign drafts. It is not a general ledger, tax or payroll system, bank feed, clinical record, regulated advice service or substitute for software a law or professional standard requires. Assistant suggestions remain drafts: they cannot send, publish, charge, file or delete, and the account owner is responsible for reviewing the underlying facts before using them.

Merchant shops and payments

If you enable a shop, you remain the seller and merchant responsible for the goods, services, product descriptions, availability, taxes, fulfilment, customer support, cancellation and refund rights that apply in every market you serve. Customer charges are created as direct charges in the Stripe account you connect; Sitefinite does not become the seller merely because its software presents the checkout or records the order.

Prices, stock, booking capacity and order totals are calculated on the server and payment is confirmed only from a signed provider event. Refunds require an explicit merchant action and provider confirmation. A refund does not automatically put physical stock back on sale: the merchant must inspect the returned item and make a separate inventory decision. Recurring products must state their cadence and cancellation position before publication, and access follows the signed subscription state. Digital files must pass the configured local malware scanner before activation, but scanning reduces risk rather than guaranteeing that a file is safe; the merchant remains responsible for every file it supplies and the rights to distribute it.

The catalogue can support physical, unique, digital, service, membership, event, accommodation, food and made-to-order offers, but it is not a certified point-of-sale, property-management, food-safety, age-verification, regulated-ticketing, tax or accounting system. The merchant must supply accurate product-specific terms and use any specialised system required by its industry or jurisdiction.

Website performance figures

Business HQ reports eligible page requests and recorded website enquiries. A page view is a request, not a unique person, and a broad source category is not guaranteed marketing attribution. Automated traffic can evade detection and privacy signals can reduce the count. The figures are operating evidence, not a promise of enquiries, customers or revenue.

Local Opportunity Radar

The Radar may surface minimal summaries of public requests through a public, customer- connected, licensed or specifically approved source interface. A source listed in the product is not permission to scrape it. Connectors remain disabled where a commercial agreement, platform approval or customer connection is missing, and Sitefinite does not circumvent logins, private groups, paywalls, robots controls or platform rate limits.

Private demonstrations and prospect outreach

A private demonstration is an unofficial concept, not a published business website and not a statement that the business is our customer. It may use evidenced public business facts, but it must not invent credentials, outcomes, review text, prices or other claims. The target business—not Sitefinite—reviews and accepts the content before adoption or publication. The business may decline, request correction, claim the preview to edit it, or ask not to be contacted again.

Demonstration generation and outreach are separate gates. An outreach draft requires an allowed source, current jurisdiction/channel evidence, an identified business/entity type, a recorded lawful or consent basis, an active private preview and a clear suppression check. The product does not infer that a public email address permits contact, does not auto-send from the acquisition console, and blocks open drafts when an opt-out, complaint, source restriction or legal prohibition is recorded.

Customer Hub decisions

A Customer Hub is a private view of records the business linked to that customer. Quote acceptance or rejection records the customer's decision; a request for a booking, change or repeat service is not confirmation that the business accepted it. The business remains responsible for reviewing its queue, confirming scope, price and timing, and using any statutory invoice, tax or regulated-record system its market requires.

The account owner—not Sitefinite—reviews each signal and decides whether any contact is appropriate. A public post is not marketing consent. The owner must follow the source's rules and the privacy, direct-marketing, telemarketing, professional and consumer laws that apply to their market. The product never auto-replies, impersonates a person, buys hidden personal data or promises that a signal is genuine, current, exclusive or likely to convert.

Getting it wrong

If we make a mistake, tell us and we will fix it. If we cannot fix it, you should not be paying for it.
