Questions we get asked

What's the difference between balayage and foils?
Foils weave sections and wrap them so the lightener processes evenly from the root up. Balayage is painted on freehand down the mid-lengths and ends and left open to develop, which softens where the colour starts and blurs the regrowth line as it grows out.
Do I need a patch test before a colour service?
A patch test applies a small amount of the mixed tint to the skin ahead of the appointment to check for a reaction. Manufacturers recommend it before colouring, and it is standard practice before a first colour service in a salon.
How long should I let hair grow before a wax?
The hair needs a few millimetres of growth for the wax to grip and pull it from the follicle. Shaving in between cuts the hair off at the surface and resets the growth cycle, so hair is generally left alone between waxing appointments rather than trimmed.
Why does gel polish need to be soaked off instead of picked?
Picking or peeling gel takes layers of the nail plate with it and leaves nails thin, rough and prone to splitting. Soft gel is wrapped in acetone until it lifts away; hard gel and gel extensions are filed back instead, because acetone will not dissolve them.

02Review before continuing

The customer reviews the exact request and contact details. Sending creates a private Business HQ record; it does not confirm scope, price or timing.

03Business HQ handoff

The owner sees the enquiry, accountable next action and response state together. Sitefinite prepares routine work but does not invent a promise to the customer.

Enquiry status

A request is not a booking, quotation or promise of availability. The business confirms the next step.

Privacy boundary

This demonstration collects nothing. Every live enquiry form says who receives the details and links the privacy notice, and enquiries are deleted after twelve months by default.

Business confirmation

Scope, price, timing and material changes stay with the business unless it grants a narrower tested authority.

Owner-controlled: real sites publish only confirmed business facts, policies and enabled modules. Customer-facing actions stay inside their configured authority and audit trail.
